Usually when we get together as a family, we play games and watch movies. Sometimes, we do projects. This year, Scott brought a project to us to build water-powered rockets; we also took the guns out shooting. Luckily, we captured some of the day's activities on film and we turned into a fun home movie--it was a fun thanksgiving together. It has been a long time since I've updated my blog, it is about time...

Oh man was that AWESOME!!! I loved it! I can't wait to watch it again and again!! Shucks we sure missed out! It is good to see and hear the family! We sure wish we could have been there! It looks like such good times! Ty would have totally had a BLAST with his uncles and papa launching rockets!!
Wow, you guys have all the fun, we didn't do anything like that for Thanksgiving! We enjoyed our visit with you! Can't wait to see you again, this time Connor says he will stay home from school!
WOW uncle Blake that was sooo cool! When you come out at Christmas will you fly rockets with me? That was fun to see you in the video. I want to see another one!
When can we do this again?
I loved the weekend! It was exciting to see all the creative juices flowing.
Solving the problem of getting the rocket off the roof was ingenius. It would have been easier to call the fire department and have them spray the rocket down; but you guys were able to fish it off with a 40 foot pole and rope. We almost thought the party was over, when Blake gave the pole one last successful reel. Good Stunt, Blake
This was such a great team effort. I am proud of all of you. This will be a laughable, fun memory for years to come.
Lorisa and Scott, thanks for the idea and determination to plan an exciting project.
Dad, it was so great to have your enthusiasm and help. You are the rocket scientist.
Please remember Enchiladas for lunch, and barbecued Pork for dinner. Three tasty meals, added to the success of the day.
Hi Blake, Elena here. You always knew how to have fun. Next time you're in town we should have another get together.
I think we'll plan our next Thanksgiving with the Lowry's... Thoroughly enjoyed the film and events of the weekend. Next year--potato guns?
That made me laugh! The good ol' Lowry fun! Dangerous! :)
